I want you to be in the moment on your wedding day!

I want my couples to laugh hard, ugly cry, and be completely, ridiculously yourselves. I'll be there with my camera, paying attention to all the little details.

I’m a practiced noticer. I’ll see the fleeting moments of the day: the strange ones, the beautiful ones, and the ones you don’t even notice happening because you’re too busy having the best time with your loved ones.

Because those are the photographs you'll care about most when it’s over.

My approach is documentary at its heart, with an art director's eye.

I don't want to manufacture moments that look good in photographs but feel nothing like you. I'm interested in what's already happening, and in creating just enough space for something real to unfold.

Sometimes I'll give you direction, move things around, or ask you to walk somewhere beautiful and forget about me entirely.

The goal isn't to make you look like someone else's idea of a wedding, it's to make photographs that feel unmistakably yours.

I'm drawn to images that have atmosphere and photographs that feel alive! Motion blur, grain, dreamy soft focus, golden light, strange angles, and windblown hair. Beautiful doesn't have to mean perfect, sometimes the most beautiful frame is the one that's slightly out of focus. I see art.

For the unconventional.

I'm especially drawn to couples who are doing things their own way.

I’m most excited about non-traditional weddings. I love weird little venues, city hall ceremonies, backyard parties, wildly ambitious ideas, tiny guest lists, themed events, rugged elopements, and celebrations that don't quite fit into a category.

The Experience

I don’t want to turn your wedding day into a production, I want to make sure you can be in the moment. I'll help when you need direction, keep things moving when they need to move, and disappear into the background when the things start happening.

You don't need to know how to pose or be comfortable in front of a camera. I don’t want you to become a different version of yourselves for photographs. Just be there, enjoy your day, and I'll take care of the rest.
